The first one stopped me in my tracks...hard to believe a ten-year old wrote this. But then, most kids haven't been through as much as Hannah, she is an old soul. Kids really do feel as much...
I hope those mean girls were spoken to! I also hope that Hannah doesn't have to wait to become a scientist, but will see her wish become a reality well before that.

Hannah being an "old soul" fits her so well. Sometimes it's hard to see how deeply she feels life... and then you happen onto a letter in her journal. It explains so much about her and her love for her brother.
