2004

I'm enjoying immensely the process of looking not into the immediate past but into the (relatively) more distant past. Though I cling to the most recent memories and images of Max, looking back through the years I guess provides a little bit of a buffer to the more recent images which are more painful to view.

At Cardiff State Beach, October 2004, just prior to Max's neuroblastoma being diagnosed.

Thank you for sharing such beautiful shots of two precious lives. I believe the way you are grieving is wonderful in remembering all those special moments and looking back to happy times and the innocent wonder of their young lives. Max as a little guy already had that special smile..twinkle in his eyes..your little angel on earth. Sending hugs. xo Linny

I've tried desperately to say good bye to Maxie bur it is just not possible. I'll just say "so long" for now and wait for the time we meet again. The photos do so much to keep him in my memory. TaTa.

  9. When Kent was born, a nurse told us, enjoy him, god is lending his precious child to you for a fixed amount of time. I think the time he gave you to enjoy Max was all too short but I can see from these pictures that it sure was a beautiful one. May you cherish these precious moments and I hope it will help you through your grief. Shiho

  12. Hi,

Andy, it seems to me that you are very emotional in nature. The snaps of Max’s are wonderful. Both the kids are looking awesome.
