Any one who faces death, be it through a death of a loved one or through near-death experience of their own, I think gains tremendous depth that is carved by perspective and humility. That depth could be filled with sorrow or love or both. How much of either love or sorrow fills that depth probably depends on how that person faced the death; last moments together, support of friends and family, lasting memories, etc. I can warm love and caring soul pouring out of Leigh and Erik's writing. I also know that the big hole that Max left in the Mikulak household is going to be filled up by love; love for Max and his memories, love for Hanna and Nic, love for Melissa and Andy, love for all the family members and friends that supported you guys, love for everything that is beautiful and appreciating it for what it is. Not taking anything for granted. More people than most full grown adults ever make. Amazing, heartwarming, inspiring, but yet so very sad that his work was cut so short.

Missing Max and sending hugs your way!Breehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13037975986903881669noreply@blogger.com
