As an added benefit, so many people read what is written there and grow from it. Also, thank you for sharing this website and beautiful story about your precious son and the brave soul, I will pray for his brave soul and your family's peace. I am so touched by both stories and know that I will use them in my counseling practice. May God continue to lay his healing hands on your wounded heart. John's son was one of Liam's closest friends. I am sure that Max and Liam are looking out for each other, and I know that they are both looking down on all of us. It is beautiful.

At first as I was reading, I tried to hold back my tears. It's difficult to set aside one's vulnerability and to allow yourself to experience the moment--feelings and all. Then my emotions got the best of me, and I find myself now with tears trickling down my cheeks.

Once again, our brave little soul Max is reaching out and reminding me to open up that goodness and love in my heart. And just maybe to not fear those tears that need to be let go of.

Thank you Max. She commented to me that children like Max with so much love and life are the brightest of candles that light the way for others. Max was our light and like him we need to live with that same love and vitality. The nurse and I also spoke about God's purpose and Max, and that it was no accident that he came into my life. God touched me through Max - what an awesome concept that is!

Max, our brave little soul, did change lives. It was good. The world is a better place because of him. Max was a miracle. God is pleased, and I'm sure welcomed Max with His everlasting arms saying, "Well done, my good & faithful brave little soul." xolisaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9911796.post-29367902445072710972008-10-28T11:44:00.000-07:002008-10-28T11:44:00.000-07:00My friend's mother could not believe in this thoug...My friend's mother could not believe in this thought. But every time some one close passed away, I always go back to a verse in Ecclesiastes.

I hope you will find peace in your mind, though shaded by sadness, and would be able to say "a time to be born, and a time to die", and that Max had a great life here on earth, however short and brought out so much love in so many people's heart.

As always, hugs and kisses from Nor Cal.

**************
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
a time to born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast way stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
a time to rend, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
What gain has the worker from his toil?
I have seen the business that God has given to the sons of men to be busy with.
